FAQs

What kind of bike do I need?
Every type fo bicycle and rider is welcome! The road course consists of paved scenic country roads. If signing up for one of the gravel routes, a gravel or mountian bike would be strongly suggested. the most important thing is that you bring a bike that you will enjoy riding for whatever distance and route you choose. last year we even had an Eliptigo!

Are Helmets required?
Absoutely! We love our cycling community and want to see everyone complete the ride safely.

Will there be rest stops?
Of course! Rest stops will be spaced approximately every 15 miles on course. Expect the rest stops to be just as awesome as the routes themselves! So awesome, matter of fact, that the only hard part will be leaving to get to the next one!

Will there be restrooms?
Most certainly! There will be restrooms at the Start/Finish @ Printer's Ale mfg co. and also facilities will be available at rest stops

Where do I park?
Parking will be availabe at Printer's Ale mfg co. with overflow parking nearby at OFS Fitel and Southwire North Campus

Why are we riding?
We ride to support the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation of Carroll County, GA and Randolph County, AL. You can donate directly to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation of Carroll County, GA and Randolph County, AL by using the link below!

What is SAG?
SAG stands for Support And Gear, Thanks to West Georgia Cycling, we will have full course support. They will be able to handle minor adjustments before the start od the ride to make sure that you are ready to enjoy the ride. On course, they will provide assistance for minor repairs (flats, chain repair, etc...) to get you back in the saddle. If the repair is too much to handle on the side of the road, they will make sure you get back to your vehicle safely.

Can my family join me for lunch after the ride?
Yes! We would love to have you come and cheer on your rider as they cross the finish line! then join us for a great selection of locally brewed beers, great food and live music!
Is onsite registration available?
Yes! Online registration will be open until 8am the day of the ride. Although, We encourage riders to register in advance. T-Shirt sizing can not be guarenteed (based on availability - first come, first served).

What happens if it rains on the day of the ride?
This is a rain or shine event. The only way it would be cancelled is if dangerous conditions will comprimise the safety of those involved.

Will there be early packet pickup and where?
